Certification for Priests and Priestesses

In order to preserve African religions, the National African Religion Congress is here to support the development and growth of priests and priestesses around the world. In addition to certification, we provide support for continuing education of these religious leaders.

Accredited Priests and Priestesses

The National African Religion Congress has established relations and dialogue with medical insurance providers so that priests and priestesses will be paid for their work on those people who carry medical insurance. In order to include priests and priestesses in this way, we must create a process of accreditation that meets the criteria established by medical insurance providers.

First of all, it must be established that a specific priest or priestess has the power to heal. That priest or priestess must receive accreditation from the National African Religion Congress based upon their training and skill in the healing arts of their religion. Secondly, that priest or priestess must enter into a process of continuing education in order to maintain accreditation.

The National African Religion Congress is establishing a continuing education program in order for accredited priests or priestesses to maintain their accreditation. The National African Religion Congress is offering a series of seminars, workshops, and classes that will help a priest or priestess to obtain continuing education credits.

Once a priest or priestess has been accredited, they will be required to obtain 50 continuing education credits per year in order to maintain their accreditation. These continuing education workshops, seminars, and classes will be established at the international headquarters of the National African Religion Congress.

The annual conference of the National African Religion Congress will provide another opportunity for continuing education credits. Attendees of the annual conference and World Ceremony of Ceremonies will receive a total of 40 credits of continuing education. The priest or priestess must then acquire another 10 continuing education credits within that year in order to maintain their accreditation.

Conditions for Accreditation

To be an accredited priest or priestess, it is mandatory to have 50 continuing education credits per year in your area of spiritual expertise. All acceptable credits are approved by the accreditation board of the National African Religion Congress. The accreditation board will determine the number of credits for each seminar, workshop, and class.

The NARC-CE certification records will be kept by the continuing education provider and the priest or priestess taking the continuing education seminar, workshop, and class. Proof of continuing education will be kept for two years. Proof of all continuing education seminars, workshops, and classes are to be presented at the time of renewal.

Course Approval

All seminars, workshops, and classes must be approved by the accreditation board of the National African Religion Congress. All course credits will be determined by our accreditation board. All approved courses will have a board-certified number and logo. To be a continuing education provider, you must submit lesson plans with goals, objectives, and what each individual will learn.

The continuing education provider will give the National African Religion Congress:

  • A complete list of attendees
  • Full name including spiritual name
  • NARC I.D. including expiration date
  • Full mailing address including any residences outside of the United States
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Fax number(s)
  • Email address(es)
